DIE-IN to protest Stupak Amendment

On December 5, women and men protested the Stupak/Pitts amendment in San Francisco at the Ferry Building, staging multiple "die-ins" while marching thru and around the building.

The amendment would result in a new restriction on women's access to abortion coverage in the private health insurance market, undermining the ability of women to purchase private health plans that cover abortion care, and creating a two-tiered system that would particularly punish women with low and modest incomes.
